WRITING
This chapter is
about writing skill which is a productive skill like speaking. There are different written text types such as
essays, messages, postcards. Also, each type of text has different characteristics,
but it depends on who we are writing to. That is why; we have to take into account
the different layouts, the degree of formality, and the level of complexity of
grammar, register, and the range of vocabulary that we need to apply in our work.
Writing involves
using subskills. Accuracy
is based on using the correct forms of languages and those are spelling,
forming letters correctly, and writing legible, using correct layouts, choosing the
correct vocabulary, using grammar properly, and joining sentences to organize
the paragraphs. The subskills related to communicating our ideas include using appropriate
style and register,
organizing ideas and using the typical
features according to the text type. Likewise, it is useful to follow
some stages to develop it as: drafting, editing,
proofreading, and re-drafting. Moreover, as teacher, you also have a reason to
teach writing; there is a set of skills you wish your students to develop. We have
to provide our students some models as guide, since it takes a long time and
process to do. It is not an easy task to do, but it is essential to accomplish,
depending in our student´s needs and ages. It can help students’ creativity and
encourage them to think critically about topics with focused writing activities
by using a logical
way of organizing the information in a text it refers to the text cohesive.

ResponderBorrarI consider that writing is very important and to develop this skill students have to read alot in order to get new vocabulary.I agree with you because the writer have to the correct vocabulary, and organize the sentences in order to send the message with sense.
