WHAT IS GRAMMAR ?
The first unit is about grammar, which is relevant to require because it can help to learn a languagemore quickly and more efficiently. Grammar refers to how to combine and change parts of words to make meaning. Pupils can use it unconsciously when they speak, write, read or write. For that reason, we have to take into account that it has forms and uses, they need to know the grammatical forms which are made up in speech or writing by identifying the parts of speech which contains nine such as: verbs, adjectives, nouns, prepositions, adverbs, determiners, pronouns, conjunctions and exclamations. It leads us to describe how words behave into sentences. A way to make English words form is through the application of affixes,it means to add letters at the begining or end of a base word in which its meaning change as example the form of plural of regular nouns is just to add an "s" girls. Also, we have to pay attention how to apply suffixes and prefixes to make new words as well, .e.g. impolite, careful. Besides, grammatical uses are used to convey meaning based on the context.
Consequently, it is suitable to have clearly the common features of language in order to develop accuracy in both form and use, but it is not always easy to understand. So, we have to take into account some factors to teach grammar patterns and structures of the language because of student´s learning style, age, level, and so on, hence it can lead to increase the improvement of communication skills in both spoken and written English.

ResponderBorrarRegarding you video, I also consider that it is necessary to teach grammar through functions. If teachers teaches the grammar points in this way, students can practice more in real situations. For example: if you teach them the modal should to give advice.
